LQ (Love)
“Love is my driving force, to love and be loved.”
What is the Love Quotient?
Love Quotient (LQ) in children refers to their ability to give and receive love, empathy, and compassion.
A child with a high LQ exhibits kindness, caring, and a willingness to share affection with family, friends, and even strangers. For instance, they might comfort a friend in distress, show appreciation, or offer a hug when someone is upset. In contrast, a child with a lower LQ may struggle to express love and empathy or find it difficult to connect emotionally with others.
Developing a strong LQ in kids fosters healthy relationships, emotional well-being, and a sense of belonging, shaping them into more compassionate and caring individuals.
