AQ (Adversity)
“I am not afraid of failure and setbacks. I will find a solution.”
What is the Adversity Quotient?
Adversity Quotient (AQ) for children refers to their ability to navigate and adapt to challenging circumstances and setbacks.
A child with a high AQ demonstrates resilience, problem-solving skills, and emotional fortitude when facing adversity. For instance, they might persevere through difficult schoolwork, maintain a positive attitude during tough times, and learn valuable lessons from their experiences. On the other hand, a child with a lower AQ may become easily discouraged, struggle to bounce back from failures, or resist change.
Developing a strong AQ in kids equips them with the tools to overcome obstacles, learn from setbacks, and grow into more adaptable and resilient individuals, preparing them for future challenges.
